Welcome to Raging Wisdom, a laboratory for thought experiments. I’ve found that some thoughts need their own space. Ideas staying in my head sometimes seem to evaporate, rarely to be recalled again. A lot of them are worthy of being shared for the amusement and/or enlightenment of others. Raging Wisdom is a place for my thoughts to live, grow, and challenge others.

Expect to find a variety of subjects of inquiry and ridicule. The most frequent will be news, politics, sports, and uncategorized funny crap that I just have to say. Topics could be anything I find important, interesting, amusing, or irritating. Of course, if something piques my rage, I’ll share it. I reserve the right to change my mind as facts dictate.

About Me:

For now, I’ll be posting as the WiseFather. I have a broad base of knowledge and just enough years of experience (though far from enough to claim my geezerhood) to lay claim to the term “wisdom.” I’m married to the WiseGoddess and we have a young son, the WiseBoy. My highest degree is a law degree and my experience includes a series of humble jobs, including two years as an inner-city public school teacher. I’ve had several law review articles published (and continuing to collect dust in law libraries across the country). I also had the privilege of being editor-in-chief of a law journal during my law school days (so, please, call me out on any typos).

Politically, I’m an independent; one of those that resists labels. I get disgusted by those that simply toe the party line without thinking. I try to stay above Left and Right and be an equal opportunity critic. Everyone’s ox will be gored, and everyone’s Gore will be oxed. If you think you are finding a bias it is probably because at that particular moment in history one side is doing significantly more than their fair share of stupid and/or evil. They are just the low-hanging fruit, so I can reach them (and mock them) first.

I hate labels too. They are ridiculous in this day and age because not all progressives believe the same and that goes for Indy’s too.

Now, when it comes to rightwing nutters, those graduates of Nutter U, they mostly seem to walk in lockstep w/each other..which of course makes it easy for the pond scum known as the GOP to keep them all in line w/all their lies and obfuscations.
